Barbara Ann Rowland Obituary
Barbara Rowland, 90, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughters Donna, MaryAnn, and Patti, her grandson Joseph and his wife Hannah.
Originally from southwestern Pennsylvania, Barbara and her husband Walter moved to Virginia Beach in 1987 to be near their daughters. For many years, she attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she also volunteered in the office.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Walter Rowland. She is survived by her daughters, her son Gary, daughter-in-law Karen, six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Westminster Canterbury at Home Hospice, especially Nurse Casey Hopkins, and Walton Funeral Home.
