Gerald Anthony Gordon, 65, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2025. He was born on July 12, 1960, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Shirley Gordon and the late William Gordon Sr.

Gerald dedicated his life to hard work, family, and faith. A lifelong construction worker and contractor, he poured his strength and skill into building not just homes and structures, but a legacy of dedication and perseverance. His craftsmanship and work ethic left an imprint on countless projects throughout the Hampton Roads community.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Gordon Sr., and his sister, Jackie Brunn.

Gerald’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Gordon; his devoted wife, Kim Gordon; and his children, Natalie Jernigan, Cortney Goode, Brittoni Gordon, and Sydnee Gordon. He was blessed with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and laughter. Gerald is also survived by several loving brothers and sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends who cherished him dearly.

Those who knew Gerald will remember his ability to never meet a stranger. With a warm smile, a quick wit, and a heart open to all, he made people feel welcomed and uplifted in his presence. His laughter was infectious, his conversations genuine, and his spirit carried a kindness that touched everyone he encountered.

A viewing will take place at Walton Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2025. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Turning Point Church, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Gerald’s life and legacy.

Though he will be deeply missed here on earth, we rejoice in knowing that Gerald is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. His love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
