God saw fit to remove Frances Margaret Johnson Prince from us on December 12, 2025. Frances, born on December 31, 1925, and  was the eleventh child born to William Luke and Corrine Cuffee Johnson. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church for many years where she was a member of the Coppage Bible class.

Frances was educated in the Norfolk Public School System and graduated from Booker T Washington High School in 1943. She went on to work for the Department of Defense and Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth Virginia. A loving and dedicated mother, Frances raised 11 children.

Frances  was  predeceased by her husband, Gerald, Michael and son Gregory Prince and 11 siblings Rowland Johnson, Ellsworth Johnson, Luke Johnson, Charles Johnson, Bernard Johnson, Fred Johnson, Thelma J. Calhoun, Ethel J. Laughton, Alice J. Walton, Doris J. Murden, and Carlena J. Hamilton.

Frances leaves behind eight children to morn her loss Robert Prince, Edward Prince, Harold Prince, Frances Gray, Ameedah  Abdullah, Diane Prince, Geneva Fields, and Sheila Prince. Also, morning her loss are a host of grandchildren great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

It is comforting to know that Frances Prince is in the hands and comfort of her Savior.
