Kelvin Antonio Webb “KK” departed this life on June 15, 2026.  Born November 9, 1965 he was a native of Norfolk’s Oakwood section and the son of Rudolph Yancey and Antonia Webb.    

After graduating from Norview High School in 1984, Kelvin attended Norfolk State University.  He eagerly began a career path as a technician for Cox Cable and was a skilled electrician. Later he moved to Northern Virginia to accept a promotion to management at Comcast Communications, where he became a Senior Executive Operations Manager. 

Kelvin was a skilled hunter and was given the moniker “Knock Em’ Down” for always hitting his target when deer hunting.  Also, he got an early start at becoming an avid fisherman.  Stories have often been told of his adventures with his brother, Christopher, sneaking out of school to reel in catfish at the ripe old age of five and six years old.

As a towering figure at an early age, Kelvin was sought after on the football field and played under Coach Stepney while at Norview High School. His love for football was evident in the vast amounts of merch and in person games he attended for the Washington Redskins (Commanders). 

Among family, Kelvin earned his place as top “Grill master” and prepared steaks that rivaled any restaurant. He loved gatherings, listening to Go-Go and Reggae music, and attending Beres Hammond concerts just to name a few.  His charismatic and distinguished persona made him the center of attention wherever he went and his presence will be dearly missed. 

Kelvin was preceded in death by his brother, Andre Webb; stepfather, Ferdinand Nathaniel; maternal grandparents, Daisy Webb and Antonio Baptista and his uncle Solomon Johnson and aunt Maxine Edney Forrest.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Travis Harris; daughter Ciara Williams (Elton); Seven Grandchildren; his mother Antonia Nathaniel Jones (Michael); brother, Christopher Webb Sr.; sister, Fernetta Mason (Cornelius).  Kevin will also be missed by his aunt Lolita Felton (William), and a host of other family members and friends.
