On Jan 31st 2017 Vivian left this earth peacefully and the heavens gained a beautiful angel. Vivian lived a long and happy life with a family who loved her dearly. She is survived by her daughter Joi-Robertson- Barco who dedicated her time daily to care for her, also her son Richard Mayo, her sister Joyce Dowling, grandchildren David Robertson, Starla Baker, Trey Mayo, Jason Hill, Kristina hill, Travis Hill, Mann and Krystal Barco. 10 great grandchildren also survive, along with friends spending time and building cherished memories before her passing. Her special child David, granddaughter Starla and daughter Joi-Robertson-Barco whom Vivian held so deeply in her heart were there by her side till the very end. Vivian was preceded in death by her brothers Phillip & Rondal Whitehurst, and her daughter Sherri Lyn Hill. The family would like to thank Sentara village and Pace program of Norfolk for taking excellent care of her. Rest in peace Vivian Ruth Robertson. You will always be in our heart.
