My heart always breaks a little when a battler of life finally goes home to rest...because it leaves us with wonderment and memories of WHAT WAS. In the case of Amber, I was married to her mom's sister and met her in VA. I found out she was a photoed representative for Spina Bifida and in fact was the poster child for the Association and was so stinkin' cute! She was a "good egg" (taken from Willy Wonka). We all loved her and will miss her, but I - for one - am glad her long battle and struggle with life is over. She was a fighter and was someone I considered a real champion because you never knew when she was getting beat by life. She stood up to it and even cursed it VOCALLY at times - but always with a beautiful smile (look at the picture above). She was a trip - this girl was. Love ya Ambino! - Uncle Harold

I met met Amber thru Facebook. She came into my life after my mother passed away and I was going thru a very rough time. Amber always reminded me to try to live my life to the fullest and enjoy every day. When I was down I could talk to her and she always had me laughing before we were done talking. Ms.Colleen I'm so sorry for yours and her dad's loss. Amber touched so many lives. I will forever miss my soul sister. Rip Amber!
