To the family of Dr. Barbara Simpkins Harrison,
By way of introduction, I graduated with Barbara from Hampton High School in 1969. I was sorry to hear of her death. From her obituary, it sounds as if Barbara had a very productive life in the nursing profession and I know that she will be missed by her family and by those who worked with her. The photo on the left is of Barbara from the 1969 Hampton High School yearbook.
Your family will be in my thoughts during this time of grief. Take care and best wishes to all of you.

Dr. Harrison was a mentor, instructor, and all around great person. To the family I pray for your comfort and strength during this most difficult time. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye to my childhood friend. Many days/hours we spent fantasizing our futures through Barbie/Ken dolls. What wonderful memories we made. This world, her friends, colleagues and family will forever miss her brilliant mind, compassion and dedication to the medical field. Her memory and love will live on in all who knew her.
