i met barbara when she was at ginter hall assisted living, she was an amazing woman, she loved her friends and family, she always talked about her 2 daughters all the time, we had good times together i would come and visit her and stay for hours, just talking to her and watching tv with her, i would always bring her , her favorite snacks she was always appreciated them too, i will miss her so much , i think about her all the time shexwill becmissed by me everyday rwest in peace my friend till we meet again in heaven love you so much.

We did not know Barbara personally, but we used to deliver meals on wheels and we always looked forward to seeing her. She was a very kind and generous woman and we appreciated the fortune cookies she always gave us, a small thing to brighten our day. Condolences to her family, she seemed like a great human being.

A truly classy lady who befriended me at Maggie Walker High. She was always gracious knowing I was new to Richmond ,she and her sister invited me to her home.While I was a sophomore and she a senior, she never made me feel that I didn't belong. I will always cherish her kindness. After graduating she did attend Norfolk State college. .my senior year I also applied and was accepted at Norfolk State...if it was good enough for her it was definitely good for me.She has made this world a better place
