Omar Jackson, 26, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on August 20, 2021.

He was born in Jamaica, NY, on September 28, 1994, the son of Aretha Leary and Omar Jackson.

Omar graduated from Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia in June of 2012. He went on to complete a four-year bachelor’s degree in business and sports management, at Alderson Broaddus University.

After graduating from Alderson Broaddus University, he moved to Maryland and started working for My Gym. He loved working there so much when he decided to move back home, he transferred to the My Gym location in Virginia Beach.

Omar was a quiet and fun-loving young man. He loved watching Football and playing basketball with his friends. He will be deeply missed by all his friends, family and all the people who knew him.

Omar is survived by his mother, Aretha Leary, Stepfather, Rashawn Etheridge, his father Omar Jackson Sr., two brothers, Trevon, Tyree, two grandmas, Aunties, Uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
