Bart W. Brown, long-time resident of Virginia Beach, died at his home on Sunday, November 28, 2021, following a brief illness.

Bart was a graduate of Kellam High School, but school was more about socializing than studying. He had many interests outside of school and enjoyed being around his friends. Music was his passion, so music was included in whatever he was doing or wherever he was.

Bart recently retired from the United States Postal Service after nearly 34 years. He was always willing to help others and enjoyed talking to his many customers. Anyone who knew Bart knew how much he loved to talk, and he had many stories to tell.

He is survived by his mother, Oma “Jan” Brown; son, Derek W. Brown; sister, Jeanette Brown Olson; and his brothers Eric Brown and Sean Brown.
