Obituary of Michael Rodriguez Velasquez

Michael R. Velasquez, 62, a resident of Virginia Beach, pass away in his home on September 22, 2016. Born on May 5, 1955 in Pampa, TX, he was the son of Emfino Velasquez and Jesse Rodriguez Velasquez of Amarillo, TX. Micheal worked as a production technician for more than 15 years at Hermes Abrasives Ltd. in Virginia Beach. He will be remembered for his love for his family and his true friendship to all who knew and him. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his daughter, Stacy Velasquez of Virginia Beach and many loving family members. Mike’s life will be celebrated at 5:00 pm, Saturday, September 24th at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 509 S. Rosemount Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23452. A reception will follow the service in the church Fellowship Hall. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
