I'm shocked, saddened... but also joyful, because I knew Dr. Salsano was a brother in Christ Jesus.
I started going to him as a patient in 1998 when I was age 30 and needed a checkup before an international trip. He said I should thank God I was in such good health, because it wasn't common anymore for 30 years olds.
Then over the next 21 years, I had various health issues and he was a great doctor. In fact, I treasured him. Truly. Always thorough, gentle, sincere, happy. He was a good man and good doctor.
I hadn't seen him in 2 years since I lost my health insurance, so I'm pretty shocked in learning he passed away 9 months ago.
He will be missed and treasured on our family. My wife loved and saw him as a patient, too.

Dr. Salsano will be truly missed by me. He was my physician for over 40 years and my friend. My heart broke when you left Medicine two years ago and I thought he was not going to practice anymore. Then I was so happy when he came back. He's obituary was spot on he was a man of God and a friend to all. My thoughts, prayers and heart goes out to his entire family. Dr Salsano will be greatly missed. He was my doctor for the past 7 years, since I moved to Virginia. I appreciated that he took the time to listen and always provided outstanding care recommendations. Through our discussions I felt like I got to know him and he got to know me. The obit write-up was spot on, he was a man always willing to help and give back. Thank you Dr. Salsano!

My sincere condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to Mrs. Salsano, her children, and their many relatives and friends. My heart sank when I called his office and his daughter's voice said that services for my dad... He was truly a wonderful person, soft-spoken, gentle, and always smiling. He was my doctor since 2005 and I will miss him so. He saved my life. He encouraged me to continue with God-given remedies. My son gave his son Alessio as his middle name. When I introduced Dr. Salsano to him, after the visit, my grandson said... I like him, he's a nice man. He will be sorely missed. God bless his soul. He is home!

I started being a patient of Dr. Salsano when he was with Bob Secours after being referred by friends who absolutely loved him. I followed him to his latest practice and was so happy to have found him again. He was the kindest, most knowledgeable doctor and listened intently to try to come up with the best plan for care, no matter how small the issue. I was amazed at how much time he spent with his patients. My last appointment I brought my 7 year old daughter and he told us how he got his name when I asked if he was of Italian descent. He spoke fondly of his family as I shared we were adopting our daughter and even made time to conduct my husband’s physical we both needed for the adoption paperwork, even though my husband wasn’t a patient. He was one of a kind and made an impact on many who will miss him. My condolences to his family. Thank you for sharing him with so many.

Dr. Salsano, started treating my son Marc once we had to find an adult PCP from the first time we meet him; he treated my son with warmth and concern. I loved how he acknowledged him first whenever he entered the room and talk directly to my son. He won me over by showing my son he was important and special regardless of his diagnosis.
Marc, adored seeing Dr. Salsano he always gave such a big smile and would breathe in and out for his exams which I found amazing. He will dearly be missed but, we know he's gone to glory finish his task that God gave him. God we thank you for sharing your Angel here on earth to do your work. Grace and peace to The Salsano family pray your grief come in waves.

Dr. Salsano was the doctor for my husband and me from the first day he took over Dr Seehermann’s practice. He was always such a warm and caring doctor who answered our every need. When my mom became a patient of his, he diagnosed and solved a problem with her intestinal tract that had been bothering her for years. He was always so helpful and professional.
We are so very sorry he had to leave us all so soon. He loved his family so much and always spoke of all of you with such pride. We are so sorry for your tremendous loss.
We had planned to be there with you all at church but have to be out of town on Thursday. We are thinking of you all and thank you for sharing Dr. Salsano with all of us.

Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family. Although we didn’t have a lot of contact as adults I have fond memories of our family events as children in New Jersey.
My cousin Les was always such a serious guy even as a child. He was a great doctor and was always willing to help others.
He shared a love for the Lord with us all and for that we are joyful that his soul will be in heaven.
We send our love to the family especially my Aunt Marie, his loving mother.
I have no doubt my mother, brother and sister met him as he left this world.

A Tribute to Doctor Salsano,
My sincerest condolences to the wife and family of this earthly being who has joined his Savior. He will be missed and thank you for sharing him with his patients.
Where can one start to list the limitless qualities of this wonderful doctor.
Dr Salsano was kind, knowledgeable, dedicated and truly cared about his patients. You could always feel peace in his presence, and he always did his best to answer your questions. He was a good Holy man who walked in the light of the Lord.
