Obituary of Barbara E. Butts

On Sunday evening, August 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, Barbara E. Butts peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home. She was the wife of Willis L. Butts and the daughter of Rose Anna Etheridge and the late William C. Etheridge.  She was born and raised in Virginia Beach and was a 1975 graduate of Kellum High School. 

Barbara is survived by the love of her life, her wonderful and dedicated husband Willis L. Butts and her adoring children, Darren D. Butts and Lakesha R. Butts-Crawford. She will also be missed by her siblings, Jeanette. E. Cherry (Rev. John), Mary E. Etheridge, Doris V. Hensley, Robert L. Etheridge (Joyce), and James R. Etheridge (Diana) and her brother-in-law James E. Butts (Mary). She is predeceased by her eldest brother William C. Etheridge III and his lovely wife Lavern.
