Obituary of Frankie Delores Foore
Frankie Delores (Dearing) Foore passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023, with her daughters by her side.
She was born to Charles and Olive Dearing in the coal mining town of Kayford, West Virginia, on October 29, 1930. Her parents, brother Windell, stepdaughter Maxine, son-in-law Jim, stepdaughter in law Donna, and husband of 44 years Max preceded her in death.
Frankie is survived by her three children, Neal Foore (Joe), Kitty Allen, and Amy Keeley (Rob), two stepsons, Max Foore and Ronnie Foore , five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. And finally, her beloved companion Moose.
She was a remarkable woman with a feisty and generous personality. She had a passion for crocheting, baking, reading, and yard sales. Her cherished Walmart and Dollar Tree outings were as much about the merchandise as they were for the relationships she fostered throughout the stores.
One could not attempt to walk out the door without Frankie trying to give you 5 bucks for gas, milk shakes gave her strength, she was a vegetarian except for hot dogs, bacon, and hamburgers, and everything she owned had one of her return address label's on it. Gossip was her superpower, never letting facts get in the way of a good chat!
Frankie was devoted to her family and friends, always doing something for somebody. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend and will be sincerely missed.
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff, compassionate caregivers, and loving friends at Heartland Hospice and The Villages of Rosemont ALF; our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all that helped care for Frankie as she transitioned to be with the Lord.
The family will hold a graveside service at Duvall Cemetery in Six Mile Run, PA on October 12, 2023 at 2:30 PM.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 14, 2023, at Back Bay Christian Assembly in Virginia Beach, VA at 1200.
In lieu of flowers a donation to her beloved church in Virginia Beach would be greatly appreciated:
