Obituary of Brenda A. Daniel

Brenda Authrell Daniel was born to James Thomas Clarke and Marjorie Jaunita Clarke on December 27, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was educated in the Norfolk City School System where graduated from the Booker Taliaferro Washington High School. After high school, she went on to earn a Batchelor's of Art degree in Special Education from Norfolk State (College) University, and masters degrees from both Norfolk State University and the University of Virginia. She was employed at the Portsmouth Psychiatric Center, Norfolk Public Schools, the New Light School of Excellence, and culminated her employment at Her Shelter. Brenda was known as a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and proud Norfolk State Alumni. She was passionate in her zest for education and always incorporated her life travels and experiences in her everyday teachings. She is and always will be loved and missed. She leaves to mourn her transition; children, Lloyd Prescott Johnson, and Dionne Davia Moye; grandchildren, Samuel W. Cochran V (Asliegh Michele), and Bobby Moye III; great grandchildren, Lauren Armani Moye, Jayden Cash Williams, Bobby Moye IV, Serenity Cochran, Samuel W. Cochran VI, and a treasure of cousins, relatives and friends.
