Mrs. Chrystal Burke, born June 2, 1955 to Dorothy Miler McAdoo and Alton S. McAdoo Sr. in Greensboro North Carolina was a beautiful, well respected and loving parent to everyone that graced her path. She would meet Mr. James E Burke and become a resident of Norfolk Virginia where together they ultimately created a family of many who continue in spirit of which she created. She had a heart full of love, compassion and care that gravitated others into her midst in a loving environment. Her calling home to glory on September 10, 2024 has touched the lives of many who knew her; an angel in spirit who will be well missed. Preceded in death by her late husband, James E. Burke, she leaves behind a family of two brothers: Jerry and Waine McAdoo, one sister; Lisa Highter, five sons; Alfonso F. Burke, Roshan E. Burke, James E. Williams, Antoine Highter, and Clarence Highter, four daughters; Shequila K. Burke, Chrystal K. Burke, Stephanie Highter and Jewel Williams, A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins in-laws, family and friends.
