Obituary of Russell Lee Bell

Russell Lee Bell, departed this life peacefully on November 24, 2016. He is a native of the Creeds section of Virginia Beach and a retired Army Veteran. He was member of New Weeping Mary Baptist Church until illness prevented his attendance. Russell is the widower of Ruth S. Bell, and was privileged to have retired from both civil service and the Virginia Beach School System after several years of dedicated service.
During his 88 years Russell touched many lives, his kind and compassionate spirit will be missed by a host of loving relatives and friends.
In celebration of his life a graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 2, 2016 at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Walton Funeral Home and at New Weeping Mary Baptist Church, 1104 Fentress Rd, Chesapeake from 3:30 until 6:30 pm.
