Obituary of John L. Kilgore

John Kilgore, resident of Virginia Beach, died unexpectedly on January 28, 2019.John is survived by his parents; his three siblings; his five nieces and one nephew; and his dog and cat, Mika and Alexis.

John was born in Fairfax, VA on June 17, 1986 to Sharon and Peter Kilgore. He graduated from George Mason University in 2008 with a degree in International Studies.  Later, John went on to obtain an MBA and a Master’s degree in accounting in 2014 from Old Dominion University. John worked for several years as a CPA, most recently working as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. 

John was a kind, generous, and loving person and will be missed. More than anything, he loved being with his family and adored his nieces and nephew. John loved animals almost as much as he loved his family. He also loved music and was an accomplished percussionist. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the beach and driving his convertible.
