Obituary of Alberta Ruth Beatty

Alberta Ruth Neat Beatty, 82, died peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2019.  She is a native of Kentucky and the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Neat.  "Bertie" as she was affectionately known by friends and family, earned a bachelor’s of fine arts in 1961 and was a well-loved educator in the Anne Arundel Co., Maryland School District for many years. 

She is the widow of Paul Beatty and is pre-deceased by four siblings; Ester Marie Neat, Richard Neat, Frank Neat Jr. and Patricia Neat Eastman-Sloan.  Bertie is survived by her loving brother-in-law Luther Beatty, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and distant relatives.  She will be remembered for her contagious smile, loving mannerisms and gentle spirit.

Floral expressions must be sent to the funeral home by Friday, 3:00 pm, February 8th, 2019.
