There is so much to say about Aunt Carol. Her and Uncle Larry were like parents to me. Although Aunt Carol was always the one to both let me know when I was not in their favor and also showed me when they were proud. Aunt Carol always let everyone feel that she was truly glad to see them. Her smile light up the room. Everyone that knew her was blessed to have her in their lives. Having them both gone is a hole in our hearts. But I will remember the blessings, the good times, the trips to Port Sanilac in the summer, the family gatherings, dinner on Sunday, how she pinched my cheeks EVERY time and so many more. My heart is heavy, but lightened by the knowledge her and the love of her love are together again.

I am do sad for this family at the sudden loss of the matriarch. I did not know Carol, but know Jenny and we shared mumsy stories and laughs. I know Carol is missed by many. While I had only met Carol once, I felt that I knew her well through the many stories her daughter, Jenny, shared with me through the years. Actually, we relayed messages to each other through Jenny! I always thought of Carol as an incredibly strong and caring woman, and am truly saddened to hear of her passing. I know a little light has dimmed in the hearts of many at this time, but a new light is shining in the heavens today. May she rest in peace.
